This is a clone script of the site ProxyRoll.com. It is 100% Unencoded, and easy to setup.

Installation Instructions

`````````````````````````

1) Create a MySQL database, and assign a user to the database.

2) Open the config.php file, and edit the database details to match the database you've created.

3) Open the file titles.txt. It is important that you edit the title and description for each page listed before uploading. This is to ensure you have unique titles and description for each page in your proxy site. If you do not change this, it will have the same titles as our demo site. Please do not skip this step as it is important for search engine indexing.

3) Upload all files to your server.

4) Be sure to set read/write/execute permissions to the config.php, proxylist.js, titles.txt, categories.txt, subemail_subject.txt, subemail.txt, appemail.txt, appemail_subject.txt and in the php folder currently_active_proxies files. Chmod to 777 these files are you will see errors.

5) Once all files are uploaded, go to

http://yoursite.com/install.php

. Replace yoursite.com, with your actual site name. This will install the tables to your database.

Your installation is now completed. You can now access the admin area by going to

http://yoursite.com/admin.php

and input the password you set in the config.php file for access to the admin area.

Editing Advertise Page

To edit the pricing and paypal details for the advertise page, you'll need to open the advertise.php page. Once opened go to line #137 and you'll see the paypal code. You'll need to change the email address listed, and that "return" url and cancel urls for each listing. You can also change the pricing for each item as well.

The text displayed on each page is a direct copy from what we've listed on our demo site. To ensure your textual content is unique, please be sure to edit the text displayed on all pages on your site. You can do this by editing each page individually. We highly recommend that you create your own text descriptions to ensure your content is not indexed as 'duplicate'. This is very important for search engine indexing. We've included default text to give you a guideline of what you can say but it is very important for indexing purposes that you change the text on each page.

Editing Template

The template is divided into a header and footer file. These files can be found in the template folder.

Editing Logo

We've included the ProxyRoll logo PSD file by default. This file can be edited to suit your needs or you can use your own logo and make any changes as you desire.
